tastespotting is interesting - you see a bunch of photos from different recipes and blog entries about food, and you can click on what looks interesting. though a few pages' worth of clicks got me to an entry that used the word "nomsworthy" - not a neologism that i enjoy. let's just leave the nom in nom nom nom, shall we?

apparently myspace thinks i'm a "big beautiful woman" and facebook believes i'm interested in interracial dating. *eta: and that i may have a gambling problem. have i been playing too much scramble?

david simon and tom fontana will be working together again, i guess for the first time since homicide, on a project about the manhunt for abraham lincoln's killer. i'm guessing it was a lot more interesting than i'm imagining. anyway, yay!

hmm, weekend. so far there's a possible housewarming, a slip & slide bbq, the new year are playing though i haven't made up my mind about that, and hopefully a few other things may happen.

p.s. you may have seen the washington post chart illustrating mccain & obama's tax plans in comparison. but this version includes row height adjusted to reflect the population of each group. not a surprise, but a good illustration.
