as some of you may have heard, i didn't realize until last night that when the douchebags broke into my car saturday they took my knitting bag and my 3/4-done forecast with them. i feel like i'm almost not allowed to complain since i was neglecting it as a project, but i'd picked it back up recently and it's not like i didn't want it. (it's also not like i didn't want the sweet dear birthday bag it was in, either.)
i don't know how/when i'll have enough of one kind of yarn to make a sweater again, but i want to. so i'm actively soliciting ideas for a new first sweater to knit.
i like this sweater, whose pattern should be getting published before too long.
i like this version of wenlan chia's convertible cardigan (ravelry link, so you won't be able to see it if you're not a member, sadly).
or maybe it should be an elizabeth zimmermann pattern or something, i dunno.
